Terms of Service

1. The Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Osmet LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as LawyerMatch™. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. No Legal Advice

We are a technology company, not a legal service. LawyerMatch™ and Osmet LLC do not provide legal advice. Use of this service does not create an attorney-client relationship. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits of any legal professional connected through this platform.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Information you submit through LawyerMatch™ is not privileged and does not create an attorney-client relationship with Osmet LLC or with any attorney. Do not submit confidential details about your matter through this platform. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a separate written agreement directly with an attorney.

4. Attorney Licensing

Licensing, bar admission, and good standing are the sole responsibility of the individual attorney or law firm. Osmet LLC does not guarantee the qualifications, availability, or performance of any professional connected through this platform, and you should independently verify any attorney’s credentials before engaging them.

5. SMS Communications

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from LawyerMatch™ relating to account verification, appointment scheduling, and service notifications. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled.

6. Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. All payment information is processed according to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. Osmet LLC does not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers.

7. Intellectual Property

LawyerMatch™ is a trademark of Osmet LLC. All software, proprietary algorithms (MatchOS), and brand assets are the exclusive property of Osmet LLC.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osmet LLC shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of this service or the performance of any legal professional connected through our platform.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Osmet LLC, its officers, members, and employees from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any professional connected through the platform.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
